The U.S. Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort NxG) is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle designed to provide professional support services across the Department of the Navy. The contract has a 10-year period of performance, consisting of a five-year base period from January 2, 2019, to January 1, 2024, and a five-year option period from January 2, 2024, to January 1, 2029. The total ceiling value of the contract is $60 billion.
SeaPort NxG encompasses two primary categories: Engineering Services and Program Management Services. Engineering Services include areas such as systems engineering, software development, research and development, modeling and simulation, and prototyping. Program Management Services cover financial analysis, quality assurance, logistics support, configuration management, and information technology support. These services are available to all Navy commands, including Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Military Sealift Command (MSC), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Office of Naval Research (ONR), and the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
